Delete your data

You can have your CornerBeat subscription and the personal data we hold about you permanently deleted at any time. There are two paths depending on what you signed up through.

Option 1: One-click unsubscribe (recommended)

Every CornerBeat email has an Unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it immediately stops future sends and marks your address as unsubscribed.

If you also want your record permanently deleted (not just suppressed), continue with Option 2. Clicking unsubscribe alone leaves a minimal "do not email" record so we don't accidentally re-mail you.

Option 2: Full deletion request

Email info@cornerbeat.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject line "Delete my CornerBeat data". That's it. We don't need any further info.

What we'll do:

1. Confirm we received your request (usually same business day).
2. Locate your subscriber record in our database.
3. Permanently delete: your email, ZIP code or city, name (if collected), phone (if collected), source-of-signup metadata, and all engagement events tied to your record.
4. Send you a confirmation email when done.

We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request, often within hours. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may persist after deletion.

If you signed up via a Facebook ad

You can also remove CornerBeat's access to your Facebook information at any time:

1. Go to facebook.com/settings → Business Integrations (web) or Settings → Apps and Websites (mobile).
2. Find CornerBeat Connect in the list.
3. Click Remove.

Note: removing the app stops future Facebook-side sharing but does not delete data we already received from the ad form. To delete that, also use Option 2 above.

Things we cannot delete

• Aggregate analytics. Counts, regional totals, and other non-identifying summaries are preserved indefinitely. They contain no personal data.
• Records we're legally required to keep. If a law requires us to retain something (e.g. financial / fraud records), we'll keep the minimum required.
• Backups. Encrypted backups roll over on a schedule. Your record will be removed from those within the backup retention window (currently 30 days).
